Wave of God
“Spiritual things” are not always the easiest to explain. But I’m going to try... The best way to describe what is happening right now in the world is that there is a WAVE OF GOD moving.
Back in the day, I grew up near the beach in California, and I loved the water. I would catch waves with my surfboard (or with my body) as much as I could! Sometimes, I would swim further and further out into the deep to catch a “big one” and ride it all the way back to the shore. It was exhilarating! I was so excited at the end of each wave ride that as soon as it dropped me off I would run right back into the ocean to catch the next one! However, “catching” a wave does require some effort. It takes patience and awareness, and when it finally comes along you have to move in stride with the tide, not against it! Waves are strong. They always reach their destination, and they’ll carry you with them if you’ll let them.
The wave of God that’s coming in right now operates in a similar fashion, but it also requires some effort to catch it. In addition to patience and awareness, it takes OBEDIENCE — above all else!
Catching a wave of God will carry you right into the miracles of God, but this is where most people (unlike surfers) miss out. People who are waiting on a move or miracle from God often take their one-wave ride and go home when God is telling them to get back in the water! I want to encourage you today to be obedient. Get back in the water, and keep going back! Catch the next wave He is bringing! God is moving all over the earth, and He wants to carry you to higher ground!
Whatever the Lord is telling you right now, just do it! Obedience is the breeding ground for miracles.
God wants to use you.
Don't be concerned about the "how" or even the “why.” Just begin to move. The "how" and the “why” will unfold as you trust God and obey. Remember, provision always follows vision.
God is restoring relationships. He is healing broken hearts. Financial increase is entering His kingdom. I don't know about you, but I'm not going to miss out on this mighty move — these mighty waves — of God!
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams…” - Acts 2:17
Remember, get off the beach and into the water!
Be obedient.
Be ready to catch the next wave of God.
